  • High Physical Support – these homes come with special features that enable people with very high needs to access the support they need, such as a ceiling hoist in the bedroom, backup power supply in case of a power outage, wide doors to all room, communication technology, and home automation.

Can I receive SIL if I live alone?

Funding for SIL is separate to funding for NDIS housing and accommodation. You can receive Supported Independent Living if you live alone, or if you live in a group home with other NDIS housemates. One highlight was the team-building and networking session with our amazing Home Caring Bankstown team.
