Paul is a clinical psychologist and brings with him over 20 years of experience working in public hospitals, private practice and community settings across the Tweed and Northern Rivers. In recent years, Paul has specialised in helping people with chronic or persistent pain. Understanding the role of the nervous system in the maintenance of long-term pain can lead to positive changes that result in reduced pain and improved quality of life.
Paul is also experienced in helping people with a range of issues including depression, anxiety and relationship stress, and takes a person-centered approach to care with a strong focus on the individual differences that make everyone’s care unique. Paul believes that in-home dementia care and disability services are the best way to promote empowerment and dignity while maximising independence in the comfort and familiarity of the family home.
At HomeCaring,Paul is supported by an experienced team of care specialists. For us, providing care at home for seniors and those with a disability is a passion. We feel that everybody should have access to a caregiver of their choice, control of their daily schedule, and specialised care services to remain independent in their own home for as long as possible. Our approach to in home carepromotes improved quality of life while allowing caregivers to continue to be loving and supportive family members.
