We put your needs first

We believe you are an individual with a unique story. It’s our job to listen to you, understand your needs, partner with you, and provide support that helps you make the most out of life. Rather than treating you like a job, we provide personalised support you can count on.

Our dedicated team aims to put you at the centre of your care plan. We are:

  • Flexible – we’ll tailor our range of services to suit your schedule, adapt to your changing needs, and take feedback on board.
  • Personal – we take the time to get to know you, listen to you, and build a relationship with you. You’ll also have an opportunity to get to know us.
  • Dedicated – we provide care to the highest standards, with great attention to detail so you feel safe, secure and comfortable at home.
  • Personcentred – we put each client at the centre of their care plan. We’ll ensure your supports help you achieve your personal goals.
  • Local – our team can connect you with services and supports in the area, so you can thrive in your community

Our values

Our ‘person-first’ caring culture gives us a framework for our service. We:

  • Believe in putting the person first
  • Improve people’s lives
  • Collaborate
  • Care about the details
  • Deliver high quality care

On the ground level, this means:

  • We treat you as an individual – we respect your values and expressed wishes.
  • We collaborate with you – you take an active role in your care.
  • We communicate and listen – the best care happens when everyone is on the same page.
  • We are sensitive to cultural and family needs – HomeCaring supports people from many different cultures.
  • We value your independence – we focus on what people can do for themselves, and empower them to live as independently as possible.
  • We value your dignity, comfort and safety – we aren’t just concerned about what we do; we also care about how we do it.
  • We take a holistic approach to your care – we work with you to deliver a plan that truly cares for every aspect of your being.

Happy Friday HC fam! 🎉

Recently we had the pleasure of hosting a fantastic networking event at our SIL home in Liverpool for like minded providers and their teams. The open and heartfelt conversations made it truly special reminding us of the genuine connections that bring our community together.

Our Liverpool SIL home embodies the essence of what we strive for—calm, warmth, and a space that feels like home. A huge thank you to Sharmila our Home caring Liverpool director for hosting and to Karen Lorenzon from @konnect_fest our beloved “Pink-Haired Lady,” for her amazing collaboration. We’re incredibly grateful to be part of such a supportive and inspiring community.

Here’s to more meaningful gatherings and connections ahead! 🩵

Last Friday our Home Caring Campbelltown team enjoyed a memorable day at the zoo with even the rain holding off for us! Our cherished clients joined us for a day packed with smiles, laughter and the simple joy of being together. From the moment we arrived there was a buzz of excitement as we explored the sights, enjoyed the animals and soaked up the sunshine. It was one of those days you look back on and remember fondly, where every moment felt special and full of connection.

Hidden or Invisible Disabilities Week 20-26th of October is a timely reminder that disabilities aren’t always visible. Here at Home Caring we understand that many people live with unseen challenges from neurological and cognitive to sensory and processing difficulties. Our team is committed to approaching each interaction with empathy and a readiness to support ensuring that individuals receive the patience and respect they need regardless of their unique needs or preferences.

A simple tool to discreetly share that someone may need extra time or assistance is the Hidden Disability Sunflower available as a lanyard, pin or wristband. This symbol helps to raise awareness in public spaces signaling to others that understanding and support are appreciated. If you or someone you know could benefit from this, you can get one at https://buff.ly/3MAbhoH. We wholeheartedly embrace this initiative striving to create a welcoming world for everyone whether their challenges are visible or hidden 🩵
