If you fulfil the role of a primary caregiver in your loved one’s life, our services could be able to help you, too. While many of our clients require our care full time, we also respite care that can fill in as much time as you need each week.

As a team of professional caregivers, we know all too well that it demands time and effort to do it. As such, many who take on those duties for their loved ones could be at risk of what’s known as caregiver burnout, when the stress becomes overwhelming. We can help you avoid that, giving you more time to socialise, take a break, fulfil your other responsibilities, or simply take the time to relax.

Whether you need us for an hour a week, a day a week, two days a week, or in any other arrangement, we’re glad to offer you the break that you deserve and need.

You don’t need to worry about the standards of care slipping or changing while you’re away, either. Disability Care in Rocklea

As a leading provider of disability home health care services in Rocklea, we have care packages that include specialist services designed specifically for those who face extra barriers to independence that other home care teams may not be able to help with.

Our disability care services offer all of the same dedication to the daily life needs of the client, including care for their safety, health, bathroom usage, feeding, and emotional wellbeing.

However, on top of those general home care services, we also offer more specialised assistance such as help with the process of applying for NDIS funding that could potentially help you pay for your care. Furthermore, we are able to help clients with a disability access community support near them and Supported Independent Living services. We’re more than happy to work with other support providers that our client relies on, as well.

About our disability accommodation

For some people living with a disability, the home may not always be the best choice of environment. For some, adapting a home to their needs and making it accessible may be too much of an investment to afford, while for others, it may pose a security risk. With our disability accommodation, that is no longer a concern.

The first of Home Caring’s Supported Independent Living Homes has been developed in cooperation with clients, their families, and experienced consultants. We aim to build more of these spaces in the future, providing access to support staff in accommodations that are specifically suited to the safety, security, comfort, and accessibility needs for those living with us.

The calibre of care in our disability accommodation matches that which is expected from our home care services, thanks to our ever-present team of experienced, trained caregivers on hand to assist. Yet it offers even more, with access to further transportation help and vehicles, occupation therapy and disability management services, and more still. Please get in touch if you want to inquire about availability at our Supported Independent Living Home.

Dementia Care in Rocklea

Home Caring works closely with our partners at Dementia Caring, coming together to provide the leading dementia care services in Rocklea. As with all of our home care plans, your dementia care services are built bespoke, asking about the necessary safety, grooming, feeding, first, mobility and emotional needs. However, we have a few extra services that make these plans specifically well suited to clients with memory disorders.

Some of our specialized dementia care services include health routine assistance, from medication tracking to helping schedule and meet doctors’ appointments. We can tap into our network of specialists for additional treatments and therapies in cooperation with other health providers. Our aim is to not only ensure the necessary standards of care expected of us, but to improve the quality of life of our clients as best as possible.

Palliative Care in Rocklea

For those who are living with a life-limited diagnosis, the primary focus is often to live for as long as possible in one’s own home, with familiar comforts and loved ones around, and to be as comfortable as possible. Home Caring’s palliative care services in Rocklea are designed to specifically that purpose. We want to make sure that the last phase of life is as without concern as possible.

Besides the housekeeping, grooming, first aid, and day-to-day services expected from our home care, we also focus on ensuring healthcare management services to ensure peace of mind. Our additional palliative services include things like comfort support, pain relief assistance, and access to spiritual support services if requested by the client.

Our government funded services

The two most frequently used programs to provide financial assistance and funding for home caring services are the Home Caring Packages and the National Disability Insurance Scheme. Yet, we have experienced clients in the past who are unaware that they or their loved ones are entitled to these government funded programs.

As we are approved by both the NDIS and Home Caring Packages to offer government funded care services, we could help. We’re experienced in helping clients and their loved ones with the application process, answering questions of eligibility and providing the step-by-step guide you need to apply. If you’re uncertain as to whether or not you could be eligible for these government funded services, ask us and we will do what we can.

Otherwise, we are more than happy to provide private paid services for those who aren’t eligible for state assistance. Regardless of whether you pay privately or with state funding, the quality of our services always remains high.

Arrange a complimentary consultation

Which of the services listed above you need may not be immediately obvious. As such, we can help you find out more about your needs by creating an economical and tailored care plan. These are made with your cooperation, ensuring bespoke, comprehensive care.

Get in touch and arrange a complimentary consultation with Home Caring. We will arrange for one of our care specialists to arrange a visit with you. Here, we can talk about your needs and preferences, our services, relevant information and funding advice you might need, as well as answering any questions you might have.

Learning a higher standard of care

At Home Caring, we have helped hundreds of clients, and learned a lot about how to provide a better standard of care. We do this not only through experience, but through diligent education, training, and research. We believe this constant dedication to improvement is at the core of our success so we’re glad to help others learned what we have, whether you’re a client or not.

As such, we have collected informational resources, including links to sites that offer great insight, support groups for palliative care needs, research, studies, guides, and blog posts that can all help you on your caregiving journey. These are all accessible from our website.
