Home Care in Prestons and Leppington

Also known as domiciliary care, our home care services ensure that your loved one’s needs are met while they’re still able to enjoy their own home as much as possible. Combining highly trained professionals with our compassionate approach to care can ensure peace of mind for you, knowing that family members are taken care of.

What those needs are can change from client to client, as we know well. We have a bespoke approach that can lend assistance with a range of basic, personal, safety, grooming, and even emotional needs with companionship and conversation. Arrange a consultation to learn more about our home care options.

Respite Care in Prestons and Leppington

We have home care services that can take care of the needs of your loved one, 24/7. However, for those who act as the primary caregiver, they may not need as much. They may simply need a few hours a week or an hour a day to take care of their own responsibilities or even to take a break. Our respite care services are here to lend that help, aware of how much time and dedication it takes to fulfil your role.

As the primary caregiver, you dictate the needs and schedule that our care team will work to follow, including the preferences and individual challenges they face, ensuring consistency in care as best as possible.

Disability Care in Prestons and Leppington

We are the premier providers of disability care throughout Sydney, serving customers all over, including those in Prestons and Leppington. When it comes to providing care for adults with disability, we take the approach of helping them live independently with as much care as they need to do the things they want.

NDIS funds can be essential for disability care and we are ready and willing to help you through the process of acquiring it. We can also help patients access support throughout the community, Supported Independent Living services, and consistent care with their other support providers.

Our Supported Independent Living Disability Accommodation

At some stage, living in their own home may not be feasible for clients with disability. Home Caring has built our first Supported Independent Living home, with all-day access to support and an environment catered to safety and security needs. This is the first of a series of disability accommodations we intend to build, designed alongside clients and their families to make sure they take care of all needs.

A qualified, compassionate team ensures that clients in our Supported Independent Living home are well cared for. Beyond taking care of daily needs, they offer disability management services, access to vehicles and transport for the sake of maintaining their schedule, and access to occupational therapy services, as well.

Dementia Care in Prestons and Leppington

Home Caring is partnered with Dementia Caring, Syndey’s premier provider of dementia services. As such, we care packages built specifically for those living with memory disorders. We focus on a wide of needs, including feeding, first aid, safety, grooming, mobility, and all the other essential day-to-day needs of the individual.

With our dementia care services also comes assistance with following their medical routine, including doctor visits and medication tracking. We can even help clients gain access to specialist treatments and therapies that can help slow the progress of dementia, improving their quality of life for longer.

Palliative Care in Prestons and Leppington

Those living with a terminal illness often want to spend as much of the rest of their days in their own home, with all their familiar comforts around them. Our palliative care services aim to make that all the more possible with day-to-day assistance and healthcare management that keeps them as comfortable and as attended to as possible.

Our palliative care services include all of the services meeting the day-to-day needs of all our clients, but with an increased focus on support and comfort, from pain relief to access to spiritual support.

Help with government funded services

You and your loved one may be entitled to financial assistance from the state for the purposes of caring for a loved one. The options most regularly applied for are Home Caring Packages and the National Disability Insurance Scheme.

Home Caring is approved by the NDIS and is a provider of Home Caring Packages.

As such, we can help you and have helped past clients navigate the application process for government-funded services, as well as providing our own private services.

Our resources

We welcome anyone interested in providing a better standard of care, client or not, to learn as much about how to ensure the needs of their loved one as possible. For that reason, we have a range of resources, including specific options like support groups and information sites revolving around palliative care. We also publish our own research and studies that can inform you on caregiving in general, so take a look through the site to make us of whatever you need.

Happy Friday HC fam!

It’s been a busy and productive week here at Home Caring with only forty days till the end of the year we are full steam ahead! One highlight was the team-building and networking session with our amazing Home Caring Bankstown team. The workshop was a huge success bringing everyone together to learn, grow and strengthen our skills.

These sessions are such a valuable part of what we do as they foster connection, build efficiency and empower us to deliver the best care to our clients. As we all know being a support worker can sometimes feel isolating but moments like these remind us of the incredible community we’re all a part of.

Let’s all carry that energy into the weekend—it’s going to be a hot one, so stay cool and take care! 🩵
