About Us

Home Caring Mount Eliza is led by Felicity de Somerville, a Registered Nurse and care manager with over 18 years of aged care experience and a post graduate in Nursing.

Starting out as a Personal Care Assistant, Felicity has worked as a care manager for several aged care providers, and as a palliative care triage manager. She specialises in dementia care, diabetes and wound management, and teaches gerontology and community nursing at TAFE and university.

Felicity is passionate about delivering client-focused care that recognises our older generation have a right to autonomy, dignity and independence. She loves helping clients stay connected with their community and what they love, so they can live with purpose and enjoy quality of life.

Dementia Care

Home Caring Mount Eliza specialises in best practice dementia care that is tailored to each person’s needs. Manager Felicity de Somerville has a wealth of experience to offer, having set up and run three successful memory support units on the Peninsula.

We can:

• Help keep people engaged with their families throughout all stages of dementia
• Manage challenging changes to behaviour, memory and physiological function while preserving dignity
• Help families understand the changes going on with their loved one
