What is Supported Independent Living?

Supported Independent Living (SIL) is a NDIS support which provides support to people who need assistance to live independently in their own home. It is designed to help participants develop the skills they need to run their own homes and to live as independently as possible.

Through Supported Independent Living, you could receive help with tasks such as managing finances, grocery shopping, cooking, cleaning, and personal care. The level of support can vary depending on the needs of each person. Some individuals may require 24-hour support, while others may only need a few hours of support each week. The goal is to help you develop the skills and confidence they need to live as independently as possible, while still having access to support for everyday tasks.

Home Caring Logan is proud to provide SIL supports for NDIS participants who want to live independently. Our person-centred approach means you can be confident that your support will make a genuine difference to everyday life.
